We know you know that getting enough fibre in your diet is one of the simplest and most powerful things you can do for your health and longevity.
When we were developing new flavours a few years back, a good friend mentioned they’d been adding their No.2 psyllium fibre supplement to their morning collagen and loving it. That little lightbulb moment got us curious. When we asked around, we discovered plenty of you were doing the same thing.
So, we thought, why not bring them together?
That’s how No.2 Collagen Psyllium Fibre Blends were born. An easy, great-tasting way to get both high-quality psyllium fibre and collagen in one scoop.
What’s inside No.2 Collagen Fibre Blends?
Our Good Gut Blends are a simple 50/50 mix of premium psyllium husk and hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides, with a dash of flavour for taste. A tablespoon (around 10 grams) gives you close to 5 grams each of psyllium and collagen. Right in the range shown in research to deliver measurable benefits for digestive health, your glow, joints, and overall wellbeing.

Why collagen?
Collagen is a structural protein that gives strength and elasticity to your skin, joints, bones, and connective tissue. It’s rich in amino acids that support skin hydration and resilience, helping to maintain firmness, reduce visible signs of ageing, and strengthen hair and nails from within.
Here’s a quick roundup of the science:
- A meta-analysis of hydrolysed collagen supplementation found significant improvements in skin hydration and elasticity, with some studies showing stronger effects after more than eight weeks.
- In one trial, women aged 30–60 who took about 1.65 g of collagen peptides daily for 12 weeks saw improved skin hydration, reduced wrinkling, and enhanced elasticity compared to placebo.
- On the joint side, hydrolysed collagen supplements have been associated with reduced joint pain and improved mobility. A meta-analysis found significant pain relief in knee osteoarthritis patients who took collagen peptides versus placebo.
Putting it all together
With Good Gut Blends, you’re getting all the benefits of psyllium fibre for heart, gut, bowel, and weight support; plus collagen’s support for skin, joints, and connective tissue, all in one place. You beauty!
Does psyllium affect collagen absorption?
Great question. Psyllium forms a gentle gel in the gut, which can slow how quickly some nutrients are absorbed. But when it comes to hydrolysed collagen peptides (like those in our blends), there’s no evidence of any interference, and every reason to think they work perfectly well together.
Collagen peptides are tiny, pre-digested protein fragments designed for rapid absorption. In fact, taking them with psyllium may even help by prolonging their contact time in the small intestine, giving your body more opportunity to absorb and use them.
